One Week Later

March 30, 1625

       After one week we have cleared enough trees that our clearing has become over 400 feet from the center in every direction. With the trees we have removed, we built our church and the reverend's home. Tomorrow we will continue to cut down trees so that we have enough wood to build 22 more houses.
