April 14, 1625
We have officially finished the last cabin and every family is now safely settled under there own roofs. While clearing trees and construction was going on, different groups of men we sent out each day to explore our surroundings to see what there was around us. We have found a fresh stream, plenty of wild game, berry bushes nearby, and an indian tribe about half a mile away. We have met and traded with the natives. They taught us how to plant maze and we in turn gave them 2 of our finest horses.
